Before joining SunGate as the Commercial accounts manager in 2021, Ayen ran her own small company that made soap, successfully producing and selling the product for a more than a year. Unable to find support to scale up the company, Ayen joined The Anti-corruption commission as a civil servant, and later taking the same role at the Ministry of General Education & Instruction. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from Makerere University in Uganda.
